“The murmur of the shells is nothing but the echo of clashing memories, of lives colliding in the abyss of time.”1
On a pile of empty shells with bony hues, two performers appear focused in their inner worlds. At times in contact with each other, at times apart, they allow themselves to be submerged by memories awakened by the sounds of the shells their interactions provoke. The lines of their bodies transform into natural landscapes, abyssal creatures, and mythological monsters, while barely audible fragments of everyday scenes, both semi-erotic and nightmarish, emerge.
---
What sleeps inside you – she whispers. Another storm – we witness. We shake in silence and breathe in circles. We spiral into the hemispheres. The abyssal memories emerge, listen to their shape. Re-shape. Re-play. Play. Pick up the shell, come closer. We have met before.
